Corporate Event Planner

Position Summary

The Clear Summit Group is looking for a successful and enthusiastic Event Planner to produce events from conception through to completion. Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with our companies’ management teams to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits and agreed upon budget
  • Select venue and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
  • Oversee the event project plan, from selection of venue, décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, invitee list, AV, etc to execution, all within the agreed budget
  • Use enhanced technology [mobile apps, websites etc] for best digital promotion of the event
  • Liaise with Marketing and Communications teams to promote event and hit attendance targets
  • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
  • Provide feedback and reports to stakeholders
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes and learnings


Experience and Skill Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Event Planner
  • BS in Event Management or related field
  • Impressive portfolio of previously managed events
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Proven use of project management and email marketing software, as well as MS Office and general proficiency with technology
  • Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work atmosphere
