Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Develop publishable marketing content for franchise development and other departments to help generate nurturing leads
  • Act as a project coordinator for tasks related to franchise and franchisee lead generation and marketing
  • Act as webmaster for our corporate sites but updating and managing content on our web properties
  • Coordinate with other members of the marketing team to deliver on objectives and meet project goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Content Marketing Specialist to assist with the execution of our Content Marketing Strategies (post content, build out workflows, report on performance etc.)
  • Coordinate with external resources for website related projects and lead advertising campaigns
  • Take part in regular Marketing team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and next steps
  • Write and review franchise development related content ongoing - offer landing pages, emails messaging, phone scripts, workflow content and phone scripts
  • Review, monitor and tweak web properties to maximize SEO opportunities (onsite and offsite)
  • Own and maintain all FD and client campaign workflows
  • Act as a conduit between sales and marketing and where necessary assist in provide training to FD team on marketing related initiatives
  • Create and distribute weekly franchise development reports for circulation to the senior management team
  • Coordinate and lead regular franchise development marketing meetings to ensure all stakeholders stay up-to-date on the latest projects and plans
  • Become a master marketing automation user for both HubSpot and SharpSpring and the resident expert at Corporate on both platforms
  • Coordinate the launch of new offers and landing pages alongside the rest of the marketing team
  • Work with the Communications & Analytics Specialist to ensure proper tracking of all campaigns and website behaviour is set-up on Google Tag Manager

Skills/Qualifications:

  • College or university degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in Marketing
  • Proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS) and HTML content editors (ie: Dreamweaver)
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (eg. Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Competent understanding of writing fundamentals, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Proven project management/time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team towards one common goal – drive more franchise sales and consultant leads
  • Good project management capabilities to track various ongoing projects and manage various resources
  • Ability to execute and meet tight deadlines
  • Innovative and creative thinker
  • Analytical and results oriented
  • Knowledge of HubSpot’s methodology and inbound marketing in general (inbound marketing certification will be required if not already obtained)
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot’s dashboard and/or SharpSpring to pull reports and information as needed (preferable)
